I offer both beginner and intermediate structured classes suitable for anyone new to working with metal and hot connections (a.k.a. soldering).  Classes are private and semi-private as my home studio best accommodates 1-3 people. If you are a group of 4 or more please get in touch.

I’ve taught people who have never tried a craft to people with successful jewelry businesses looking to learn a new technique.  EVEN CHILDREN as young as 8.  Everyone can do this and is guaranteed to walk away wearing metal pieces made with their very own hands.  

Also available are custom lessons tailored to any skill level.  If you have an idea for a piece of jewelry you’d like to make, let’s do it!  Please allow 7-10 days for evaluation, discussion and possible gathering of additional materials.  Of course, if your design has elements I’m familiar with and I have the materials in stock, it will be sooner!

Extra things to note

All materials and equipment will be provided in all lessons unless we’ve discussed a special project in advance.

I will teach you how to use and care for the tools and materials as well as the various future possibilities and how you can set up your very own jewelry studio after falling in love with your new skill set.

I play amateur dj and live to make mixtapes, so if you have specific taste you’d like to listen to during our lessons let me know. Otherwise, it will be varied and eclectic and hopefully you’ll leave with a new favorite song or two.

Last, but not at all least, I live with the most darling 6.5lb chihuahua mix named Dinky, in case you are allergic. She sheds very little and I keep allergy medicine on hand just in case.
