Chunky Brass Freeform Ring SZ 5
It does not get more “one of a kind” than this! I started making these chunky brass rings to fulfill my own need for a big, heavy, metal statement piece and I’m obsessed. They are comfortable to wear while still being a force.
The results are always unique as I use the lost wax system of casting to produce them.

In case you’re wondering about skin reactions to brass:
Verdigris is the common name for a green coloring obtained through the application of acetic acid to copper plates or the natural patina formed when copper, brass or bronze is weathered and exposed to air or seawater over a period of time. For some, their PH levels have a reaction to the brass metal elements and can turn their skin slightly green. It is totally harmless and washed off quickly with some basic hand soap. You can also paint a coat of clear nail polish onto the inside of the ring to protect from this if you have a reaction.
